Because we were busy. ;-)

Tortilla soup and flautas, a sandwich with our sprouts from the window, and pinto beans with cornbread.

Saturday -- Day off!

Breakfast at Dos Salsas. (Yes, the same.)

Lunch was a quick taco at Taco Cabana (actually 2 quick crunchy tacos) as we ran around like fiends.

What it is?

I don't know. I invented it. I made gluten free pizza rolls to the freezers and there was a ton of filling left over. So I hollowed out a gluten free baguette, filled it and popped it in the oven for 15 minutes at 375. 

Tada.

Quick and easy supper for the over-shopped.

Friday -- Stupid Technology

Well, we didn't have breakfast, but I did make a couple of amazing chicken and bacon subs that have pictures that disappeared, along with the photos of the chicken lettuce wraps from Mama Fu's...

:P

Stupid technology.

Thursday! Tortillas!

So, we eat at the Cafe Java every Thursday. J has the western omelet, I have bacon, hash browns and fruitl

And coffee.

We grabbed a quick lunch at the Longhorn Steakhouse -- petit sirloins and mashed potatoes. Simple, but nummy.

Then?

TORTILLAS!

I have been working on a decent flour tortilla recipe for years and I found one that I tweaked and tweaked and finally, bingo.

Tortillas.

So I made Mom's enchiladas (beef and beans spiced up and then cheesed).

OMG.

So. Good.

 

Writing Wednesday

We ran to the Cianfrani coffee shop to work this morning. Had a coffee called an Albino Turtle -- it was too sweet, I didn't finish it, but we did stop and get bacon cheese burgers and fries for lunch.

Then supper was oven hashbrowns, bacon and eggs. IOW, Breakfast for Supper!

Tuesday: Easy Cooking Day

Bacon, eggs and toast.

Chicken subs!

 

Fennel and orange salad, steak fries and fried haddock.

Yum!
